We work closely with clients to be fully immersed in their brand and ambitions, to target the right market and get results. Working with clients across Europe, we plan PR & social media campaigns. 

We have over 25 years experience working with magazine editors and journalists in the architecture and design media. We understand the importance of building a network and collaborating with clients, designers, journalists and photographers. 

Designing and managing regular email newsletters, building effective databases for regular communication – we have a compreshxsnieve list of awards for architecture and interiors so that we can identify and enter awards on time. 

We create a strong digital presence across the social media network using a consistent brand message. To do this we create a lexicon with the right tone and style. We reinforce and promote our client’s brand to engage with target audiences. 

Social media is a fast way to connect clients, industry leaders, peers and the media. We can follow trends, see where the best connections can be made, link back to your website and press articles. 

An organised approach is required to manage online platforms, we are efficient in time and choices. Our knowledge of where to be and who to follow makes this process enjoyable and successful.

Lorna studied Technical & Scientific Communication at degree level, which provided a foundation for working with architects, engineers and manufacturers. Early in her career she worked for advertising & design studios, as an illustrator and graphic designer before going on to manage a successful studio. In 1987 she formed Lorna Soar Design & Communication, working with architects to manage their corporate identity and design brochures & books, going on to win a number of prestigious Awards.

In the 1990’s her work expanded to include publicity and marketing strategies for manufacturing clients across Europe. She has worked with architects for over 35 years, building brands, creating PR strategies and promoting architects collectively in a series of events, seminars and exhibitions. During this time she managed to juggle being a mother of twins while growing her business and reputation. Her ability to be organised and an efficient and popular motivator has extended to her community spirited endeavours, supporting Make-a-wish as a volunteer, then later on as a school governor, Parish councillor and welfare officer for an active, growing tennis club.

This experience ensures a deep understanding of communication in the built environment, and allows her to make insightful and accurate judgements. Upholding brand values and aesthetics to keep them on track, whether managing social media, press releases, updating websites, or entering awards on her clients’ behalf. She also manages a photography library, commissions photographers, negotiates copyright and networks with editors and journalists around the world. The combination of her expert ability to edit images, create stories, communicate values gives a clarity of vision for a focused campaign.

The main drive is always to create a strategy, produce results and enjoy the process.
