It was a privilege yesterday to manage a Photography Workshop at YY London, Canary Wharf. Adam Wood of Buckley Gray Yeoman started proceedings by giving us an insight into the history of the building and the creative process behind the design.
The Photography Workshop was delivered by Timothy Soar.
Sponsored by In Opera Group who supplied the amazing, terrazzo reception floor, with the MD Enzo Favro impressing us with his depth of knowledge. A prize was given by In Opera for the best terrazzo image – won by Benjamin Bisek of WilkinsonEyre, a beautiful, thoughtful image showing the terrazzo in context with the reception front of house.
Quadrant and Oaktree Capital Management graciously allowed us to use the building, which gave us many areas of inspiration. A prize was given by Quadrant and Oaktree capital for the best image of the building. This was won by Rémi Gassmann of Perkins&Will an exciting image melding the inside and outside of the building.
